WHAT PRODUCTS DOES OZNIUM SELL?

Oznium specialises in long life LED lighting, providing inexpensive LED products at the highest quality for indoor and outdoor use.

 

HOW DO I MAKE A PURCHASE?

Shopping at Oznium.co.za is easy:

 

Use the LED PRODUCTS, LED PROJECTS and NEW PRODUCTS links at the top of the website to help you find what you are looking for. You can also shop by searching for a specific product with our search engine on the top right corner of our site.

 

Once you have found an item you wish to purchase, select your product and/or variation, enter the quantity you want and click on the ADD TO CART button underneath each item. On the same page you also can find and add product specific accessories to your cart, which we have selected for you.

 

In the event of your order exceeding the amount of items Oznium has currently in stock, all available items will be shipped immediately and all “not in stock” items will be shipped as soon as they arrive in our warehouse (BACK ORDER). In average all “out of stock” items will be shipped within 2 – 3 weeks after your order was placed.

 

Review the items as well as the order subtotal incl. shipment (for orders in South Africa) in your Shopping Cart at the top right corner of the page. When you are satisfied with the contents of your shopping cart, click PROCEEDED TO CHECKOUT. On the following page you can change the amount of ordered items and use the UPDATE CART link to delete items from your shopping cart.

 

Click on CHECKOUT to complete your order. From here you will have two options:

 

SIGN IN  – If you are an existing customer, login here to pay for this purchase.

 

QUICK-CHECKOUT – First time customers proceed to the checkout and create account at the end of this order. Continue with the instructions, entering your email address, shipping address, and other contact information.

 

To finally complete your purchase click “ACCEPT TERMS AND CONDITIONS” and “CONFIRM”. You will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I ORDER FOR THE FIRST TIME?

The first time you place an order and complete the checkout process, an account is automatically created for you. From that time, you can always view your account to look at your order history or manage your addresses, returns and so on.

 

So the only way to create an account is to make your first purchase. Therefore you will not find any buttons or methods on the site labeled “create an account.” The process is automatic.

 

DO I NEED TO SET UP AN ACCOUNT TO PLACE AN ORDER?

Yes, you can only shop at Oznium.co.za if you create an account.
 However, registering with us means you will be able to enjoy the following benefits through your Oznium account:

 

  • Track your orders and review past purchases.
  • Manage your account details
  • Change your password

 

I’VE FORGOTTEN MY PASSWORD. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

HOW DO I KNOW IF AN ITEM IS IN STOCK?

All items are in stock unless “in two weeks” is displayed. Please be aware that even if an item is in your shopping cart, another customer can still buy it until you have completed your order.

The Oznium brand in South Africa is owned and operated by Oznium, trading as Web Direct / USA Notebook (Pty) Ltd. You can pay for your online order through any of the following methods:

DOES OZNIUM ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS OR MONEY ORDERS?

Sorry, we do not accept checks or money orders. We only accept the above listed payment methods.

 

IS IT SAFE TO USE MY CREDIT CARD ONLINE AT OZNIUM?

At Oznium, your personal online security is important to us. All orders are processed through a secure checkout system and all transactions on this website are processed using Virtual Card Service (VCL) or PayPal, secure online payment gateways that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment.

 

HOW SECURE IS OZNIUM’S WEBSITE?

To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure, Oznium uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This encrypts and protects the data you send to us over the Internet. If SSL is enabled then you will see a padlock at the top of your browser and you can click on this to find out information about the SSL digital certificate registration.

 

You will also notice that when you look at the location (URL) field at the top of the browser you will see it begin with “https:” instead of the normal “http:”. This means that you are in secure mode.

 

DOES OZNIUM SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Oznium ships worldwide.

 

Customers purchasing from outside of South Africa will be charged for the items purchased and shipping costs only. Import duty or tax costs will be invoiced to you directly from the courier company or an import broker appointed by you. We recommend you contact your local customs authority to determine a landed cost price prior to purchase completion.

 

If you are a customer whose credit/debit card is not denominated in Rand, the final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer processes the transaction.

 

DOES OZNIUM SHIP TO POST OFFICE BOXES OR FREIGHT FORWARDING ADDRESSES?

Please note that Oznium does not deliver to Post Office boxes or forwarding addresses simply because we will require a signature upon receipt.

 

DOES OZNIUM SHIP TO MULTIPLE ADDRESSES?

Unfortunately, you may only ship to one address per order. 
If your order contains items that require shipping to multiple locations you will need to place separate orders for each address.

 

HOW SOON CAN I GET MY ORDER AND HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

Oznium’s aim is to dispatch all orders within 24 hours and standard delivery time within South Africa is 48h-72h after placing an order. Product and shipment costs will be displayed at the end of your order before FINAL CHECKOUT.

 

You also have the opportunity for a NEXT DAY DELIVERY. Simply look at the top of the site to find out the order cut-off time for placing your order and we aim for next day delivery. Order cut-off times are provided as guidelines only, and do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorization.

 

DO I NEED TO SIGN FOR MY ORDER?

We require proof of delivery for all orders. This means we are unable to authorise packages to be delivered without a signature.

 

CAN I CHANGE MY SHIPPING ADDRESS AFTER MY ORDER HAS BEEN DISPATCHED?

We are unfortunately unable to redirect orders once your items have been dispatched. Therefore, please ensure you provide a suitable shipping address for the specified delivery times.

 

CAN I ADD ITEMS TO AN EXISTING ORDER?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to combine orders or add items to an existing order. If you would like all your items to be delivered together, you will need to cancel your order(s) and place a new order, which contains all the items you require.

 

CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch, Oznium is not responsible for any delays caused by the courier company. 
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive email confirmation of your shipping details and a tracking number. If you have registered, you will be able to view and track the status of your shipment by signing in to MY ACCOUNT and under ORDER HISTORY you can see the current STATUS.

 

If you made a mistake, and would like to change or cancel your order, please contact us on our website as soon possible.

 

HOW DO I RETURN OR EXCHANGE AN ITEM?

All items are quality controlled and checked for any faults before they are dispatched to customers and we take great care in packaging to minimize breakage. If a product is visibly broken upon arrival, please immediately contact us on our website or return it to Oznium with your original purchase records. Keep a copy of the original records for your own files. You will be notified by email once your return has been received and processed.

 

Items should be returned in their original packaging to ensure they are adequately protected in transit and with all Oznium labels still attached. Returns that are soiled or altered may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.

 

Please send all items you wish to return from an order in the same shipment to ensure your return is processed as quickly as possible.

 

Please contact us on our website if any of your purchases have been delivered without Oznium tags.

 

We will do our best to make sure you get a replacement part quickly and with no hassle!

 

Items returned under warranty will be exchanged or credited at our discretion.  Liability is limited to replacement value of the item only and does not apply to any indirect or consequential damages. Oznium warrants that the products are free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the lifetime of the product starting from the date of delivery to the original end user. Warranties do not extend beyond the original end user. The claimant must furnish proof of date of purchase.

 

Oznium’s sole liability with respect to any defect shall be for the replacement of the defective product/s. No one is authorized to make any other warranties on behalf of Oznium. Oznium will not be liable for repairing damages or failures caused by acts of God, abuse, mishandling, alteration, accident, electrical current fluctuations, failure to follow operating, maintenance or environmental instructions, abnormal usage, or any other use or application for which the products are not intended.

 

OZNIUM WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE GOODS OR SERVICES OR OTHER INDIRECT DAMAGES WITH RESPECT TO LOSS OF PROPERTY, REVENUES, LIFE OR LIMB, PERSONAL INJURY, AND CLAIMANT’S REMEDIES SHALL BE LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF NONCONFORMING GOODS.

 

All items that are returned to Oznium on the basis of a factory fault will be inspected and replaced like for like as long as no tampering or incorrect usage can be detected. Incorrect usage would for example be using an indoor LED bulb outdoors or plugging a 12Volt LED bulb into a 220Volt fitting. In this case there is unlikely to be much left of your LED light bulb, which will be an obvious sign. It is our sole discretion to authorize returns for credit or exchange. Returns will be accepted within 30 calendar days for store credit.

 

All returns must be securely packaged, prepaid and shipped via a secure carrier to our office.  Return shipping, payment for return shipping, and any subsequent damages from return shipping are the responsibility of the purchaser. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable for any reason. Oznium is not responsible for packages lost or damaged while in transit to us. A copy of the original receipt must accompany all returns. Please include a short note inside your return package explaining why you’re returning the item. Refunds, store credit, or exchanges will not be issued until the return item has been received and logged by Oznium. Store credits are good for a period of 6 months from date of credit issue.

 

If you bought an Oznium product and then discover it was not the one you actually wanted or needed, unfortunately we cannot take the blame. We are however willing to refund 80% of the purchase price via a shopping coupon if you return the Oznium product in its original state with the original records. We will not refund you in cash. If it is not in its original state with packaging then you will not be refunded. The refund coupon can then be used to purchase the Oznium product you really wanted at www.oznium.co.za.

 

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER UNDER THE SOUTH AFRICAN CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT / ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS AND TRANSACTIONS ACT?

If you are based in South Africa under the South African Consumer Protection Act and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, you have the right to cancel your order with us, provided you give us written notice within seven working days of receipt.

 

You must notify Oznium in writing of your wish to cancel the contract for your entire order under the South African Consumer Protection Act and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act within seven working days of receiving your items. Either contact us on our website or write to us at: Oznium, Customer Support, Unit 2, 35 Rose Street, Cape Town, Bo-Kaap 8001, Western Cape, South Africa.

 

We recommend that you insure the return shipment as you are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods and will be liable for damage to them until we receive them at our warehouse. We also recommend that you use a secure, trackable means to return your order to us at Oznium, Customer Support, Unit 2, 35 Rose Street, Cape Town, Bo-Kaap 8001, Western Cape, South Africa, and that you retain proof of sending, in case of a dispute.

 

Please note that you must cover the cost of the return shipment.

 

All items must be returned unused, in their original condition and from the country that the order was delivered to.

 

We will refund the full value of your order, including shipping costs, within 30 days of receiving your notice of contract cancellation. If we do not receive the cancelled order, we will arrange to have it collected from you at your cost.

 

Please note you may only use your right to cancel the order under the South African South African Consumer Protection Act and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, if you give us formal written notice of cancellation within seven working days of receiving the order, as described above.

 

To ensure that your return is adequately protected in transit, we recommend you send your items back to us in the original packaging provided.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T RETURN DAMAGED ITEMS IMMEDIATELY?

Returns, which are not returned immediately may be accepted at the discretion of Oznium and may only be refunded as a store credit.

 

IS MY PERSONAL INFORMATION KEPT PRIVATE?

Please be assured that your personal information is kept private and confidential and at no point will we rent or sell this. 
To register at Oznium.co.za, we will need to know your name, mailing address and email address. When processing your order online we require your billing address, shipping address and telephone number. Please note that Oznium may use your contact details to inform you of the latest arrivals of new products via email. If you would prefer not to receive these updates contact us on our website.
